How is your week going? Mine has been good so far! Wrapping up lot’s of loose ends for the wedding, and last night I went to my friend Kai’s launch party for her catering company, littlevent, at Winestyr! Have you heard of Winestyr? It’s a wine club that anyone can sign up for–they focus on the small production wines that you’d never find in liquor or grocery stores, and it’s really customizable! (And free shipping!)
They have a really cool lounge space in the West Loop where the event was! You can arrange a small wine tasting, or book a big event there! If you live in Chicago, you should definitely check it out–it’s a really fun idea for a party or get together! (And you should hire Kai for catering. I know I’m biased, but, she’s INSANELY good. Tell her I sent you!) You can also make a reservation for their lounge space/ tasting room anytime and stop there for free tastings before you head to dinner on Randolph!
Annnyyywhoo–as you can likely tell, my posts are shorter and sweeter these days with all the wedding madness. So, I decided to pop in because I just noticed that a few items that I absolutely love are back in stock again–all three are great wardrobe staples for fall, if you’re in the market.
J.Crew Stadium Cloth Cocoon Coat: $350
Known formally as “one of the warmest, prettiest non-puffer coats that you can wear in the winter” (the “J.Crew Stadium Cloth Cocoon Coat” for short). J.Crew comes out with this coat every year for good reason, it’s polished, but still insanely warm. It comes in tons of colors! (Yes, the pink is back, too!) This year they made it with an extra pocket in the front so it looks extra chic! The warmest coats are definitely an investment, but they’ll last for years!
Sizing: J.Crew typically runs large on me, so I size down because I like my jackets more fitted!
Super Soft Blush Sweater: $39
This insanely soft v-neck sweater was a favorite during the Nordstrom sale, but it got snapped up within the first couple of days! Now, it’s FULLY back in stock (hooray!!) and also comes in four other colors. I love that it’s lightweight enough to start wearing now with shorts, too!
Cap Toe Pumps: $120
I love love loveee my nude and black cap-toe pumps. They’re reminiscent of Chanel but actually fit within your budget 😉 They make everything you wear look insanely beautiful, polished, and classic. Make sure to read sizing description carefully–these run small/narrow in the toe, size up.
