Top: ASTR–only $59 and comes in black floral, too! (ASTR is one of my favorite brands I shared with you on my Mega List of Favorite Brands!) Revolve also has a lot of cute ASTR items as well–so make sure to browse there too if you like what you see! // Jeans: Levi’s 721 High Waisted White Jeans (Run TTS but do stretch slightly. If you’re looking for non-high-waisted, I also tried on Articles of Society jeans the other day and they were INSANELY soft and only $59! // Shoes: Marc Fisher (come in so many colors!) also how cute is this lace-up version by Steve Madden and this lower pair from Splendid? // Bag: Welden (love this smaller, less-expensive version, too!) Also this pink J.Crew bag I’ve been drooling over–it’s under $100, too! // Jacket: Bernardo // Earrings: Similar here–Baublebar has so many cute ones!
Hii from Blair’s house in Dallas!
Well…Blair’s parents house, that is! It’s been so fun getting to hang out with them and see where Blair grew up! That’s the funny thing about making new best friends as an adult–there are so many chapters of your life you’ve already missed–but it’s fun to play catch-up!
We’re here for a blogging conference for the next few days and I am soaking up every second of the sunshine and warm weather! I’m also really excited to see my friend Ali, who happens to be a high school friend AND a blogger friend–except I haven’t seen in a DECADE–since Rocket Dogs and low-rider Hollister skirts were all the rage. (Anyone else spend their teen years in Arizona? Do you know what I’m talking about? Ha!) I’m looking forward to meeting so many other bloggers in person that I’ve been following over the years, too!
Another thing I am equally excited for…can you guess?
ALL THE TACOS.
Neal and I get Mexican probably twice per week on average, so to say I’m looking forward to indulging in some real Tex Mex is kinddddofff an understatement 😛
Anyway, last week I shared my “Friday Favorites” on Instagram stories. Since I’m in Dallas this weekend and it’s not really an average Friday, and I don’t have access to all my favorite things at home to show you on Instagram stories, I thought I’d talk about them here!
Here we go:
This spicy Mango Habañero Kombucha that I’ve been getting at Whole Foods is SO. GOOD. You’ve got to try it.
I just finished the book Julie & Julia and loved it just as much as the movie. (I actually had no idea it was even based on a book!) If you’re into cooking, it’s a fun read. Sometimes you just want the mindless, easy reads, you know?
With the weather finally heating up, I’ve taken full advantage of riding my beach cruiser. Neal bought it for me for Christmas last year at Dick’s Sporting Goods. (He told me not to worry, he didn’t spend much money on it because he figured I’d crash it or get it stolen :-P) Moral of the story, if you’re looking for a cute, inexpensive bike this summer–check out their selection!
The 606, which is an above-ground park/trail that runs from Bucktown to Humboldt Park. It’s basically Chicago’s version of NYC’s High Line, and it’s so pretty! Shaheen and I went on an evening walk earlier this week and it was so nice! If you’re visiting Chicago and planning to stop over to any western neighborhoods, definitely scope it out!
Iced Peach Matcha from David’s Tea. We have one of these up the street from our house and it is DANGEROUSLY good. My favorite is hands down the Peach matcha though. I could reaaallyyy go for one right now.
