Romper: Amanda Uprichard (sold out in this color but available in white and blue) but similar here (such a cute bow in the back!), here, and here // Sandals: B.P. and also come in black (so comfy and under $70! They’re going to be my go-to heels this summer for sure!) I also love this pair and this pair of heeled summer sandals // Necklace: Helen Ficalora but similar here for only $60! Lipstick: Burberry Lipvelvet in Oxblood
How was your weekend? I hope it was a good one! And this WEATHER? OMG. Summer is finally on the horizon! Hopefully you had plenty of time to enjoy it and you didn’t spend the whole weekend doing your taxes. (Woof.)
Our weekend was great! We finally watched the last episode of Big Little Lies and ohhh my goodness. It was so good. I’ve heard the book is even better, so that’s next up on my reading list. (Right now I’m reading Julie and Julia and it’s just as cute as the movie!)
Friday night we laid low–we hadn’t had a night in quite awhile so that was very necessary. We ordered Indian takeout from Cumin, which was SO GOOD. If you live in Chicago and haven’t had it, definitely put it on your must-try list! We also drank champagne out of our new champagne flutes that Neal’s sister Maura got us for our shower, so that was VERY exciting. (Adult things, you guys.)
Saturday we walked around enjoying the weather and got a late lunch, and then headed to our family couple’s shower that Neal’s godparents threw us. It was such a great night and so much fun, and we got so many good things off of our registry! (Which, by the way, I wrote about here!)
Sunday I had my friend Leigh’s wedding shower, which was great to see all of my college girlfriends, some who live out of town, so it was a really fun reunion!
Anyway, now that romper season is officially upon us, I wanted to share some of my favorites! Sadly the one I’m wearing here has just sold out (I’ve linked similar one’s above!) but luckily there are plenty out there right now that are just as cute!
10 Favorite Rompers for Spring:
I always get asked, “what do I wear for a bachelorette party?” this romper will make the perfect outfit!
I love the beautiful back of this romper (part of the Cupcakes and Cashmere line!) This one is really easy to dress up or down!
I love the classic striped pattern on this cotton romper. With the tie waist and v-neck, it’s super flattering, and I love how it isn’t TOO short.
White, off the shoulder, and ruffled are kind of my three favorite qualities when it comes to any summer item!
My very favorite romper that I bought last year in black–so excited to see they just came out with a navy version!
If you’re getting married, this would be perfect for your bachelorette party, or even a shower, dressed up with some cute heels!
This floral ruffle romper has almost a vintage vibe (doesn’t it look like something that Allie would’ve worn in The Notebook?)
