Right around now (i.e. when I walk out onto my front porch barefoot in the morning and scream EEEP IT’S FREEZING!!!!) is the time I start itching to update my home decor for the changing weather.
Don’t mistake me, however, for the Martha Stewart type that pulls out a different kind of impeccable decor for every holiday. (Actually, who am I kidding, pretty sure you never thought that.)
Because I am lazy and the thought of getting in the car and running around to several different stores to purchase fall home decor sounds like an absolute nightmare, I’ve come up with a better solution.
A simple, cut-the-corners solution that surprisingly makes a big impact. (Okay, OTHER than picking up some really cute white pumpkins at Trader Joe’s for 65 cents each. YASSS.)
Want to know what it is?
(Just switch up your pillows and throws! Shhh don’t tell anyone it’s that easy.)
Really–you’ll be surprised at what a little plaid or a little faux fur can do to cozy up your space. Focus on anything with a wintery pattern (my favorites are plaid or buffalo check!) or a cozy texture (cable-knit, fur, sheepskin, shearling).
Shop my favorites below! (Now, all you need is a PSL and a fire in the fireplace, and you’re all set.
Which one’s are your favorite?
