Happy less than a week until Christmas!!
This week is going to be the BEST week. Neal isn’t traveling for THREE weeks (which never happens) which means we get to spend so much more time together than usual! I’m seriously so excited. Also, I had so much fun in Milwaukee on Saturday shopping for my best friend Kate’s wedding dress–she found the dress! We all cried, twice. It was the best day.
Anyway–several of you requested a beauty product gift guide (with an emphasis on skincare, haircare, and also good products for travel!) Ask and you shall receive, as I always say. Scroll down for my beauty stocking stuffer favorites as well as other gift ideas–the majority of these items are ones I actually own, or have on my own personal list!
The Best Beauty Stocking Stuffer Ideas:
Skincare:
Sheet Masks:
Sheet masks are such fun little added surprises when it comes to stocking stuffers! They’re affordable and don’t take up much room. I love Sephora’s (especially the “rose” kind) and they’re only $6 and have the cutest packaging! I’ve heard good things about the Saturday Skin masks (these are 5 for $30!) really want to try these Elemis collagen eye patches–I’ve heard amazing things about their products and these have great reviews in particular! Also, Korean Beauty masks are also super fun–I wrote about some of my favorite drugstore Korean Beauty masks in this post!
Glossier Mask Duo:
I love both of these masks so much! I use both of them weekly, and the moisturizing Moon Mask is a god send in the winter!
Daily Detox Charcoal Set:
Charcoal is an amazing super ingredient that helps detoxify your skin and fight breakouts–I love this beautycounter set that has a mini charcoal facewash bar (great for travel because it’s not a liquid) and a charcoal mask!
Facial Oil
I just did a review of my favorite anti-aging products from Colleen Rothschild last week–but this retinol face oil is probably my favorite of all of her products for fighting fine lines! I also love Beautycounters facial oils! Both are free of harsh chemicals and harmful parabens. Facial oils are amazing and would make a really awesome gift for any skincare lover!
Origins Charcoal Mask:
I did a whole review on my favorite Origins Charcoal Mask years ago and it’s still one of my favorite masks out there. It comes in a smaller size too, which is perfect for a stocking stuffer!
Eye Cream:
I have two eye creams that I really love, and I use both of them! I love using Beautycounter’s in the morning because it has caffeine and gives my eyes an instant perk, making me look instantly more awake. At night, I use Colleen Rothschild’s, which is really rich and contains some potent anti-aging ingredients. Both are safe and don’t contain harmful chemicals!
Makeup:
MAC Brow Kit:
Bold brows are very in right now, and brow kits always make really fun gifts–I’ve got my eye on this one from MAC!
Charlotte Tilbury Eyeshadow Palette:
I’ve been using this eyeshadow palette for almost a year now and it’s pretty much the only shadow I ever use! It has the prettiest neutral shades and they’re really buildable so you can do everything from a “barely there” shadow to a dark, smokey eye.
Beautycounter Lip Sheers:
I absolutely LOVE Beautycounter’s lip sheers–they make an awesome gift because the color is very buildable (so even someone who is usually intimidated by a bold lip will love them). Plus, they’re really moisturizing too, which is essential in the winter! I have both the “coral” and “scarlet” colors.
Mascara:
Dior’s mascara (the silver tube!) is my #1 favorite mascara and it makes an awesome stocking stuffer! Who doesn’t want insanely long, thick lashes!? I also love Givenchy’s Mascara Base for even more volume!
Lotions and Creams:
l’Occitane Hand cream:
I love l’Occitane hand creams, they’re so luxurious and you can get them in mini sized gift sets like this one that make perfect stocking stuffers for every woman in your family.
Beautycounter Citrus Mimosa Hand Duo Set:
I love Beautycounter’s citrus mimosa products! They’re really gentle and smell so fresh! This little gift set would make a great hostess gift!
Glossier’s Priming Moisturizer:
I absolutely love Glossier’s priming moisturizer! It’s a two in one product that preps skin for a flawless foundation application, shrinks the appearance of pores, evens skin tone, and hydrates all at the same time.
SuperGoop! Anti-aging hand cream with SPF:
I just got some Supergoop! products I’ve been testing out and I absolutely LOVE them. They’re known for being the best sunscreen products on the market, and I love that this hand cream has Sea Buckthorn and SPF 40 for anti-aging! The mini bottle is the perfect stocking stuffer size.
Beauty Tools:
Beauty blender
I love beauty blenders! They make your foundation go on flawlessly and when you wet them before using, they give you a perfect dewy glow. This one comes in the cutest little gift package!
Eyelash curler:
There is not a day that goes by that I don’t use my eyelash curler. I have stick-straight lashes and this makes the biggest difference in making them look long and thick! I use Charlotte Tilbury’s version, which also comes with a gift with purchase!
T3 Featherweight Hair Dryer:
If someone on your list is hoping for a new hair dryer for Christmas, I love my t3 hair dryer. Admittedly, I try to avoid drying my hair as often as possible to avoid any damage, but for what it’s worth, this one is less damaging, is insanely lightweight, and dries my hair faster than any other hair drier!
T3 Whirl Curling Iron Set:
This is the set I use to curl my hair! If you don’t want to buy the full set (with the three interchangable barrels) you can buy the base separately from the wands. I usually use the 1″ wand, so that would be a great place to start–you can always purchase more later!
Beauty products for travelers:
Everyone always wants to know my favorite gifts for travelers–and beauty products definitely top that list! Who doesn’t love getting amazing travel-sized products (regardless of how often you travel)? They’re so much more convenient, plus, it gives you something to look forward to when you travel–getting to use some luxurious travel sized products!
Cuyana Travel Bag Set:
You’ve seen these make an appearance in quite a few posts now because they’re seriously just the BEST gift. I think they might be my #1 gift choice for men and women. They come in a set of two and you can personalize them with initials and choose from tons of different colors! (Mine are the color “Ecru” with gold monogram!) You can also fill them up with other small gifts like sheet masks, lip gloss, hand cream–whatever!
Slip silk pillowcase and sleep mask set:
I love love my silk pillowcase and eye mask! It’s a great gift for anyone, but especially someone who travels often, because it helps make any hotel room feel luxurious and more like home. Plus, silk pillowcases help to fight wrinkles and breakouts, too!
Oribe Cult Classics set:
It wouldn’t be far fetched to say that Oribe makes my favorite hair products of all time. I even buy their texture spray in travel size so I’m literally never without it. This gift set comes in a four pack with my favorite texture spray, a dry shampoo, and shampoo and conditioner.
Ouai Travel Set:
I’ve been hearing so much about Ouai products lately! This travel set contains all their essentials, including their dry shampoo foam, and its only $25!
Sephora’s Dry Shampoo Collection
DYING over this collection! We all have several friends who are obsessed with dry shampoo–this gift set from Sephora includes several bottles of mini-sized dry shampoo best-sellers, so she can test them all and stash one in her bag everywhere she goes!
Diptyque Candle Set:
Diptyque makes the most incredible smelling candles–how sweet would it be to get this mini set for someone who travels a lot so they can always have an amazing mini candle to make a hotel room feel more like home?
