The other day, for a second, I thought I was 26.
Yeah. Neal looked at me like, “Do you need to get your head examined?”
(Clearly this means I am aging faster than anticipated.)
Anti-aging questions are among the most common beauty questions I receive, and after testing out out several products, and returning to one of them over and over again, I thought it was time we do a deep dive post on it–my #1 favorite anti-aging product.
(If only they made this for my old lady brain that forgets my phone when it’s in my hand, or loses my keys at least 4 times per day.)
It’s Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair.
This stuff will cost you a pretty penny–for real, $92 per bottle to be exact–but it’s worth it. ($100 every few months to put off looking like an old bag for several years is a hell of a deal in my book).
Luckily, a little bit goes a long way. I put a couple drops on my fingertips prior to applying my moisturizer, and that covers my whole face and neck.
Then there are the reviews. We should talk about those.
I’m all about product reviews. Before I go to restaurants, I stalk Yelp like it’s my job–I already know the best dishes to order before I sit down. Same goes with beauty products. I’ve been known to spend 2 hours in Ulta or Sephora just looking up reviews of products before I buy them in the store.
This stuff? 5 (FIVE) star reviews on google and over 3,600 reviews. (Okay, 4.8 stars to be exact, but hey, I’m feeling generous today.) Totally unheard of.
Because it works. It’s been a total game-changer in improving my skin’s tone and texture, evening it out (you know how much I complain about the acne scars on the sides of my face).
This stuff is magic, seriously. It really does repair your skin.
If you want to try it out yourself, you can snag it at Ulta (they sell Estee Lauder there now! Which is great because it’s basically across the street from my house. #Dangerous) and also at Sephora and Nordstrom.
