So many of you gave me such great feedback about my Collagen 101 blog post that I wanted to share one of my favorite collagen recipes–my Collagen Peach Matcha Green Smoothie! If you love matcha and you’re typically short on time for breakfast (I even love this at lunch too!) then you will love this recipe. Matcha is also a natural source of caffeine–it’s a nice pick-me-up with no jitters!

To sum it up: taking a regular collagen supplement helps with hair, skin, nails, joints, aids in digestion, and more!
Another huge reason I love these supplements: they’re a great source of protein. The supplements I take are Vital Proteins–(one of my brand partners, total disclaimer–but they didn’t ask me to write a whole post dedicated to their Matcha 😂 This is all me! Anyway–today it would be fun to mix things up a bit and share one of my favorite healthy smoothies using their Matcha Powder, which is great to make hot matcha lattes with–just mix with hot milk of your choice! (Hint: dump the powder and milk all in the milk frother for a super smooth result!) but it’s also great in a smoothie, too! This recipe has a healthy dose of green veggies, protein, healthy fat from the Coconut milk, and of course–all those collagen benefits too!
Peach Collagen Matcha Green Smoothie:
1 Scoop Vital Proteins Unflavored Collagen Peptides (you can also get a big value tub at Costco!)
1 Cup Coconut Milk (or your milk of choice!)
Handful frozen spinach
1/2 frozen banana
A couple ice cubes
Optional: You can also add a handful of frozen peaches to make it more peachy, a scoop of your favorite vanilla protein powder for more protein, chia seeds or flax seed for added health benefits! I make this dozens of ways–feel free to make it your own! If you already have Matcha on hand, you can also make this with regular Matcha powder and just add two scoops of Vital Proteins Unflavored Collagen Peptides!
How to make it:
This is fairly straightforward 😂 Um, put all the ingredients in a blender and blend together! That’s it! Enjoy any time of the day for a refreshing pick-me-up! Huzzah!
