Top: Topshop, comes in SO many colors and is only $30! I was between wearing this tank and this super cute off the shoulder red crop, but ultimately went with the tank because I knew I’d never wear the crop top ever again! It runs true to size. // Jean shorts: Topshop “Mom” shorts (c/o) available at both Topshop and Nordstrom–size up! I’m wearing a US 4 // Bandana: J.Crew (this one is also similar!) // Sunnies: Ray Ban–they fold up into a teeny tiny case and are the best ever sunglasses for travel. This version is also similar, but doesn’t fold (but is less expensive!) I’ve been dying to get this round version with the classic lenses, too. I don’t really know what I’m waiting for! // Sneakers: Jack Purcell–run TTS unlike regular converse (I also love these classic white chucks with the gold rivets!) // Bag: Rebecca Minkoff–sold out in this version but nearly identical here–and I love the leather version that comes in tons of colors!
Hii and happy Wednesday!
I feel like I am officially in the upside down this week–Boston was SO FUN but now I’m feeling a little scrambly because we got home last night but now I turn around again tomorrow and head BACK to the airport for a work trip to Montreal!
I’ve never been to Canada before and I am SO. SO. EXCITED. Montreal has always been on my list, so I’m really looking forward to it! I’m headed there for a partnership with Lolë–they’re an activewear company based in Montreal. (You probably recognize them from this post!) Their designs are versatile and feminine, and best of all–comfortable! I really like their yoga pants (like this cute grey pair!) and cute sports bras (like this cute pink one for only $35!) and they have some really adorable athleisure items as well, like this adorable tee! Their items are very quality (no show through) comfortable, and stylish! They have some really cute new arrivals you can shop here! Many of their products are eco-conscious and even have SPF sun protection!
They do a huge event called the Lole White event where thousands of people gather to do yoga all dressed in white to promote peace and equality around the world. It’s SO cool–they have events in several areas and you can get more info and purchase tickets here!
Anyway–more on that later, but in today’s post, I wanted to share a few snaps of what I wore to Lollapalooza! I managed to find the time to pop by on Thursday (for a project with the Liketoknow.it team!) before we left for Boston on Friday morning, and they had Melissa there snapping photos on their new heart mural!
If you aren’t familiar with Liketoknow.it, it’s an app/service that you sign up for that allows you to shop my Instagrams (and any other bloggers you follow, too!) It’s really cool–depending on your preference, you can either “like” any photo that is tagged with @Liketoknow.it and the links to purchase the items in the outfit get emailed to you, or, you can take a screenshot of the item and a push notification will be sent to you immediately with the links to shop! It’s really cool, and funny enough, I love it as a consumer, too!
Anyway–as you guys know, I’m really more of a classics type of girl, so finding something that was still feminine and classic and not hippie dippy to wear to Lolla was becoming a bit of a challenge. I didn’t want to buy something I was never going to wear again, either, and I didn’t want to spend a ton of money!
First, I brainstormed some Lolla essentials that I already owned: white sneakers, cutoff jean shorts, and a bandana were all no-brainers. Then, I decided that I wanted a classic color combo (red and navy) with something flowy on top to keep me cool. I found this adorable ruffle swing cami from Topshop and knew it was a winner! It comes in 15 other colors and is only $30!

That’s all for now–wish me luck in completing my crazy to-do list before tomorrow! 😛 Gahh!
