Everlane’s Straight Leg Crops are $50 today!

Everlane's Straight Leg Crops

The straight leg crop, Striped cotton crew (wearing size small), Court sneakers (see my full review of Everlane’s brand new sneakers here!)

Helloooo hello from San Fransisco! (Again!)

If you’re like “Jess, what are you doing in San Francisco?” I’m here for a couple of nights because I was supposed to be at the Beautycounter conference here this weekend, but it got canceled because of Coronavirus. 😬But I kept my plane ticket anyway and figured it was a great excuse to visit my bestie that lives here, shoot some outfits in warm weather, and get together with a couple other Beautycounter gals who decided to still come and get together even though the conference was canceled!

Anyway––today’s post I had to pivot on last minute, because I got an email from my gals at Everlane giving me a heads up about a flash sale on one of my favorite pairs of pants––the straight leg crop! (Here I’m wearing the Sand color!)

And also, full disclaimer, I realize I have been posting a LOT of Everlane clothes lately and not a lot of other clothes. 😂Sorry. I promise I will be back with regular programming and other brands in the mix soon! (But also I love Everlane so much and it comprises so much of my wardrobe, so, I guess I’m not that sorry. 😂🤷🏻‍♀️)

Now that that’s out of the way––TO THE PANTS!

Today, the straight leg crop is $50! They are probably one of the most versatile pairs of pants you can buy (especially if you want a cute pair that can be dressed up for work yet casual enough for every day!) Here’s the scoop!

Everlane’s Straight Leg Crops Flash Sale details:

Today you can snag a pair for $50! (Regularly $68!) Ends tonight at 9pm PST.

FAQ’s on the Straight Leg Crop:

What’s the fit like?

The straight leg crops are high-waisted, fitted through the seat with room throughout the thigh. They are straight cut and cropped. They are basically the same pant as the wide leg crops, but with a straight leg instead of a wide leg!

How do they run?

They run true to size, so order your regular size! I wear size 25 in Everlane jeans and a 0 in the straight leg crops.

Do they come in short/tall?

Yes! They come in short, regular, and tall! I wear the regular length and I’m 5’6 for height reference.

Do they stretch?

They are made of 97% cotton and 3% elastane, so they do have a little bit of stretch but they don’t bag out!

Are they comfortable?

EXTREMELY!

How do you like to style them?

Great question. Let me demonstrate. 😜

A few ways I’ve styled Everlane’s straight leg crops on the blog:

Head to toe neutrals with a moto jacket and loafers:

Everlane's Straight Leg Crops

Straight leg crops, similar moto jackets, loafers (on sale, almost sold out!)–go up 1/2 size, washable silk blouse (almost sold out but I also love their regular classic silk blouse! Order your normal size in both.)

I love this look because it’s chic and polished, but the moto jacket gives it a little bit of edge. The juxtaposition rule at work!

With a blazer and cap-toe pumps

Everlane's Straight Leg Crops

Oversized Plaid Blazer, Straight Leg Crops, Femme Next Door Tee (my friend Juley’s company!) I aslo love J.Crew’s and Sezane’s graphic tees! Sam Edelman Cap Toe Pumps (run big, go 1/2 size down!)

I think straight-leg crops are a fantastic pair for a blazer! I often hear from a lot of you who work in business casual environments where you don’t want to wear jeans, but you still want to look casual yet professional. What do you wear for that “in-between” dress code? That’s why these pants are so great! If you wanted to make this outfit dressier, all you’d have to do is swap the tee for a blouse! With the tee under it, it’s fashionable and casual enough to wear out to drinks, too!

With a turtleneck tee and chunky cardigan:

Everlane's Straight Leg Crops

Turtleneck tee, Chunky cardigan, Straight Leg Crops, Day Heels, Form Bag

A cozy and comfortable, yet polished look! See how these pants can work great for all seasons? I wear this outfit in fall, winter, and spring!

With a blazer and neutral booties:

Transitional Ways to Style a Blazer

Similar blazer, similar booties, washable silk blouse, (almost sold out but I also love their regular classic silk blouse!) Everlane Tote

This might be my favorite outfit of the bunch! Much like the blazer outfit above, it strikes the perfect balance of polished and fashionable. The booties make the outfit a bit more casual and fashion-forward, but if you wanted to dress it up a bit for say, a meeting, you could easily swap for a pair of pumps!

All neutrals for a polished look year-round:

Silk blouse, Straight Leg Crops, Day Heels

I feel like you’ve likely identified my love of styling these pants with head to toe neutrals… And I wear this combo A LOT! I love them paired with Everlane’s Day Heels and I will especially be wearing this a lot with my new nude ballet flats I am never taking off because they’re so comfortable!!

With a bodysuit and booties:

Everlane's Straight Leg Crops

Bodysuit,  Straight Leg Crops, Day Booties, Form Bag

These pants also look great with your favorite bodysuit! This outfit would look equally as cute with a pair of sneakers as well! (Here I’ve styled them with one of my favorite pairs of booties–-the Day boots–which are like BUTTER and the comfiest heeled booties around!!)
