I love fall.
The trench coats, boots, flannel. They’re now in constant rotation.
Neal’s parents just bought this amazing lake house in Indiana, a minute away from Lake Michigan, and right next to these amazingly pretty wetlands. We went for a walk yesterday morning and thought they’d make for a pretty fun shoot. Swamps were never so cool.
(Although there were a few dozen outtakes of me tripping over sticks, falling off of logs, and unfortunately snapping a few tree branches. We also managed to stay dry until I slipped into a hidden puddle at the end. I’m such a woman of grace.)
…and moving on.
I’m really all about mens flannel shirts. Neal gets really annoyed with me whenever October rolls around because his flannels go mysteriously missing. (Weird.) I love them (even though I’m practically swimming in them). But I’ve also caved and purchased a couple of my own (in a smaller size of course).
If you’re looking to jump on the menswear bandwagon yourself (which I highly suggest) East Dane‘s (the male version of ShopBop) collection of men’s flannels is pretty on-point. I’m super into Old Navy’s great selection as well. I love mine extra comfy and oversized, so a mens small is perfect.
