So, football and I kind of have a love-hate relationship.
It’s a running inside joke between Neal and I, that “Wednesday” sometimes becomes my default favorite day of the week because it’s the only day where NFL or college football is NOT on.
(I’m sure you can relate? That’s really a LOT of football. Do we really need that much?)
That’s not to say I don’t look forward to watching it on Sundays. I was once on a fantasy team and got really into it. (Aren’t you proud?)
The one thing that bugs Neal the most though, is that I’m a Packers fan.
Yeah–my two biggest flaws, according to him: #1, I hate seafood, and #2, I’m a Packer’s fan. (Dun dun dunnnn.) We’re a “house divided” if you will. (You’ll remember when you talked about it in HIS version of this post, over here!)
(Side note: Look what JUST popped up in my Time Hop today! #HouseDivided since the beginning! This was snapped a few years back! But now we have cuter gameday wear ;-P)
One of my favorite things to do on Sundays is meet up with my best friends (AKA my old roommates, who made me a Packers fan years and years ago) at Will’s Northwoods.
Have you ever been?
It’s a Packer bar up in Lakeview, where they have cookouts every Sunday, with big screens outside, and everyone is so friendly, you feel like you’re in Wisconsin. It’s always such a blast and is hands-down the best place to watch a Green Bay game. (Although, O’Leary’s in River North is a close second!)
However, I never had anything other than my Jordy jersey to wear, seeing as I own absolutely nothing green or yellow, and wearing the same thing week after week can get old, ya know? So when Levi’s reached out to me and asked if Neal and I wanted to style some of their new game day gear, obviously I was like, “ummm IN!”
I absolutely love this Green Bay flannel button-up ($78 on levi.com). It’s so cozy, I’m actually wearing it again as I write this post. (Someone who lives in my house likes to keep the air conditioning at 68 degrees.)
Also, I can’t think of anything more fitting for a Wisconsin lover than this denim trucker jacket ($108 – levi.com). I mean–what’s better than repping your favorite team with a Canadian tuxedo?
