It’s that time again….
GG READER DOG TIME (!!!!) Hoorayyyy! If you missed the first edition, second edition, and third edition, welcome to the best blog post idea I’ve ever had. (Also, you should go read those. So many cute smushy faces!)
A few weeks ago on instagram stories, I asked you to submit your dog’s photo with a funny caption so I could turn it into a blog post–I got 100+ submissions, and here we are with a brand new blog series!
Seeing pictures of your pups brings so much sunshine to my day, and I know these good boys and girls will bring a smile to YOUR face, too!
(Please note, these photos are posted in the order they were received! Also, my cat people–don’t dismay–we will be taking cat submissions once we get through all of the dogs! New submissions are currently closed but will open up again soon!)
ENJOY this week’s puppies!
Rosie the Doodle
Fellow Hoosier here! (Jess’ note: GO HOOSIERS!) This is Rosie, @minimissrosie on Instagram, and she is a 7 month old mini goldendoodle. She LOVES to cuddle everyone and everything. Even old socks. Every person she meets she immediately rolls onto her back for some belly rubs and love, and will do anything for an apple slice. Girl loves her fruit.

King from New Orleans
This is King (named for the Neal Young song “Old King”). He’s an almost 5 years old olden retriever. His birthday is May 14. We got him when we were trying and struggling to have a baby and he filled a hole in my heart. He ate part of a towel and had a stomach surgery when he was 6 months old. He’s not super smart to be honest, but he’s so sweet and handsome.
He steals every shoe, stuffed animal, and toy of our now 2.5 year old. But he is such a loving precious boy. His nickname is “Big Buddy” (we have another smaller dog). We say he’s like the dog from UP. His favorite food are strawberries. If you open a container of strawberries, he’ll run from one end of the house to beg for some.

Ginny from DC
Hi! My name is Ginny (@ginny_andtonic) and yes I was named after the alcohol. I have an uncle dog named Jack Daniels and a cousin named Johnny Walker.. you get the idea.
I was born in Puerto Rico, but flew all the way up to Virginia. Now, I am a good girl residing in the one and only Washington D.C. Sadly I am not running for Pawsident, but you can catch me hanging out chasing the squirrels down by the Capitol.
