Happy Friday, guys! We’re back with another gift guide!
If you missed our first one–Neal’s picks for guys–pop over here to check it out! The second most requested topic was smaller gifts under $50 for gift exchanges and the like–so that’s what we’re covering today! Whether you’re shopping for your bestie, coworker, or a gift exchange, I think you’ll love all of these affordable gift ideas! I’ve also included a couple ideas to “take it up a notch” if you’d like to spend a little more, too!
Gift Guide: For Her
1. Herbivore Self Love Gift Set: $36
I have been wanting to try Herbivore products for YEARS (maybe I should buy this for myself ?) it’s a clean beauty brand that is as pretty as it is good for you. Set includes:
– Coco Rose Body Polish: a highly moisturizing and gentle exfoliating blend of virgin coconut oil and delicately floral Moroccan rose that leaves skin softer, smoother and hydrated.
– Coconut Milk Bath Soak: a bath soak formulated with coconut milk powder, which moisturizes, softens and soothes the skin and has a light vanilla and coconut scent.
– Rose Quartz Illuminating Body Oil: an illuminating body oil that combines deeply hydrating oils, intoxicating Moroccan rose and natural mineral pigments for a subtle shimmer and glow.
Take it up a notch: If you wanted to spend a little more, you could always get this under $50 super cozy robe to go with!
2. “How to Pack” Coffee Table Book: $14
I’m a big fan of giving cute and helpful coffee table books as gift, and I’ve always wanted to read this one! It contains lot’s of helpful packing tips to teach you how to be smart packer while still being fashionable on any trip! Who wouldn’t want to read that? My other favorite is I Love Your Style: How to Define and Refine Your Personal Style!
Take it up a notch: You could get her one of these books plus a Nordstrom gift card (I always recommend Nordstrom because it has the best selection and widest price ranges!) so she can purchase a couple items to refine her wardrobe!
3. Pretty Journal Set: $16
An ideal gift for your favorite coworker or creative person–everyone could always use more journals! I always feel way more happy and inspired when I’m writing in something pretty, and you can’t beat the price, either!
4. Plaid Cape: $39
Capes and scarves are a great gift to give anyone who loves clothing because they’re one size fits all. Plus, they’re super versatile and can be worn so many different ways–whoever is lucky enough to receive this will get so much use out of it, and will think of you with a smile every time!
Take it up a notch: Get her the faux leather leggings she’s been wanting to go along with it!
5. Collapsable reusable bag set: $30
For the girl who loves the Farmer’s market (or just happens to be forgetful and never remembers her grocery bags!) These fold into little pouches perfect for stashing in the car, throwing in your work tote so you can grocery shop on the way home from work–whatever! They’re so much cuter than regular grocery bags–I think”elevated” everyday items make the cutest gifts, because they’re such an easy way to brighten someones day, and things like this are usually something people won’t buy themselves!
Take it up a notch: Add in a Whole Foods gift card, or use these as hostess gifts to bring over some high quality meats and cheeses to any party!
6. Pinch Travel-mergency kit: $24
Have you heard of these Pinch Mini-mergency kits? They are AWESOME. They make them for all kinds of occasions that you’ll want to have on you at all times. For the girl who always loves to be prepared (OR the girl who is NEVER prepared and needs to be ?) these make an adorable gift that people will be super thankful to receive! It includes a phone/tablet stand, mending kit, facial tissue, deodorant towelette, lip balm, nail clipper, breath drops, dental floss, hand lotion, stain remover, hand cleaner, mini comb, safety pin, eye mask, wrinkle remover, ear plugs, pill container, and ear buds!
7. Cute packing cube set: $48
For the frequent traveler–whether it’s for work or pleasure, these adorable packing cubes make the dreaded chore of packing easier and more enjoyable! I loved this leopard print but they come in lot’s of colors and patterns!
8. Selfie light and lens: $22
Everyone has a friend (or….sister in law? ??Sis, this has your name all over it!) who would die opening this selfie lens for her iPhone. It comes with a ring light (with warm and cool light ??) and a wide angle lens. This would also make an ideal White Elephant gift!
Take it up a notch: Get her this amazing mini lipstick set (I’m obsessed! I just got it and every color is gorgeous!) or this lipstick duo (same formula, but less expensive because there are two full sized products instead of 8 minis) to go along with it to bring her selfies up a notch ?
9. Tech gloves: $25
I chose this pair of Zella tech running gloves because they’re great for everyday but especially for the girl who likes to be active in the winter! They have a little zipper compartment on the back of your hand to hold a key or credit card, etc, and also has reflective details to keep you safe in the dark.
10. Travel ornament: $35
If you’re planning to surprise someone with a trip this Christmas, or just know someone who loves to travel, or has a cool trip coming up (or just returned from one!) these are super cute ornaments and they have several different countries!
11. Herbal Warming Slippers: $48
I told Neal I wanted these for Christmas and he was like “NOOOOOOO!” ?GUYS. Grandma? Yes. Amazing? Double yes. You heat them up in the microwave and they are lavender scented. For the person who always has cold feet–I mean, could these be more perfect. Someone please buy them for me this year ?(Oh, also, you can put them in the freezer in the summer too!)
12. Chic Passport case & tag: $25
If you know someone planning an upcoming trip, this is such a cute little gift! This passport and luggage tag set comes in tons of different colors!
Take it up a notch: You could these to go along with my favorite carry-on suitcase! It holds SO MUCH stuff and is so cute!
13. Dry Shampoo Mist: $29
Okay, so, my hairstylist Stacia (she works at Sine Qua Non salon, can’t recommend her enough if you’re looking for a recco!) recommended this new dry shampoo mist to me. She says it cleans better than other dry shampoos and doesn’t leave any residue! I tested it out yesterday (because our hot water heater decided to go out and I couldn’t wash my hair before my event last night–FUN!). It WORKS. I need to do a full review on it soon. But if you’re looking for a cute stocking stuffer for a beauty junkie who loves dry shampoo, totally get her this!
14. Cute socks: $8.50+
Who doesn’t need more cute socks in her life!? NOBODY. Socks are always well received. Madewell has a lot of really cute socks right now that look so cute peeking out under ankle pants with ankle boots!
Take it up a notch: Add in these ribbed texting gloves–basically cozy socks for your hands. But they have little tiny slits on the thumb and index finger for easy texting. I like this idea way better than tech gloves because I feel like tech gloves are harder to text in!
15. Adaptable Lip Duo: $30
This is my #1 $30 beauty gift pick of the year. This set comes with the coolest lip balm that adjust it’s shade based on the PH naturally in your body. So it looks different on everyone, but it’s always super flattering and brings out the natural color already in your lips–perfect for the girl who wants a little something on her lips but typically shies away from lipstick. It comes with a pretty, clear gloss to finish it off!
16. Dog Tea Towels: $38
For any dog lover–this gift set with different dogs on them could not be more adorable! They come in a set of 7–one for each day of the week!
Take it up a notch: Get something for the dog lover’s dog, too–how adorable is this “Woof Cliquot” toy?! ?
