I can’t believe it’s time to dive into GIFT GUIDES, you guys! Oh my goodness!
I figured I would kick them all off with something I didn’t do last year, but I thought would be a nice way to come out of the gate just a couple days after Giving Tuesday–and, you know, given the state of the world at the moment, why not help to make it a better place while shopping for your loved ones all at the same time?
Here are 12 fun gifts that help give back to those in need–gifts, I might add, that anyone would love to open on Christmas morning!
1. A Love Your Melon Beanie
Love Your Melon makes the cutest cozy beanies that anyone would love, and the organization is dedicated to giving a hat to every child battling cancer in America as well as supporting nonprofit organizations who lead the fight against pediatric cancer.
2. Public Supply Notebook
This company makes the most beautiful minimalistic notebooks (even velvet covered ones!) and a portion of every notebook sold is donated to Pencils of Promise.
3. An Everlane 100% Human Crewneck Sweatshirt
You guys know this is one of my FAVORITE brands! I love their 100% Human line, which benefits the ACLU. As well as their 100% woman line, which benefits Equality Now. I love when I pass someone on the street wearing one of these sweatshirts! (I have this one and wear it all the time!)
4. S’well Water Bottle
Who doesn’t love an awesome water bottle? Swell makes really popular ones in just about every color under the sun, and a portion of every bottle sold goes to UNICEF to help provide clean drinking water to children around the world.
5. Give Lotto Love Scratch Offs
I think this might win coolest, most creative gift idea. It’s the concept of lottery scratch-offs, but for charity! The winning prize of each card is one of our four basic needs gifts: literacy tools, clean water, nutritious meals or solar energy. The game is the same as a typical scratch off ticket, but you must match icons (instead of numbers). Flip the card over to learn more about the winning donation. Every card is a winner!
6. Grounds and Hounds Coffee
Who doesn’t love gourmet coffee that helps pups in need!?
7. St. Jude x Williams Sonoma Christmas Tree Spatula
An organization near and dear to my heart, I am all-in for anything that helps St. Jude! This spatula would make the cutest stocking stuffer to anyone who loves to cook!
8. TOMS sneakers
I’ve had my eye on these sneakers for awhile now! They are so cute and I’ve heard so many good things about them! The great thing is that for EVERY pair of TOMS purchased, another pair goes to someone in need!
9. Clare Viver Maman ‘Je T’aime tote
I am in LOVE with this tote that any Francophile will love, which Clare Viver created in partnership with Every Mother Counts on their Orange Rose Mother’s Day Collection to make pregnancy and childbirth safe for every mother, everywhere. 100% of the proceeds for each bag sold go to Every Mother Counts!
10. Nest x Autism Speaks Candle
Nest makes the most incredible smelling candles, and this one benefits an organization very near and dear to our hearts–Autism Speaks!
11. Bare Soaps
I first discovered Bare soaps years back when I first started blogging! I absolutely LOVE all of their products! The company was founded with the goals of: 1. to educate and provide an all-natural product for those at home and 2. to create a sustainable sanitation program for the children in Kaberamaido, Uganda. They’ve seen so much success that they have expanded to benefit the Kalwa slum in India as well, providing women with fair wage jobs. The company also reinvests 20% of its profits to economic development.
12. Kiehls x Disney x Feeding America Gift Set
I love Kiehls products, as does Neal! If you’re planning to stock up on some of their goodies this season, consider purchasing the Disney partnership products, which benefit Feeding America. Each of these gift sets sold helps provide 212 meals to those in need! Pretty amazing, right?

Thanks for this – I need to Christmas shop but I’ve been burnt out by the Black Friday madness! It’ll be nice to buy presents that have a positive impact.
The Giving Keys carry a line of jewelry pieces that are designed to inspire by having an inspirational or sentimental word etched into the product. Plus, every purchase made supports job creation for those transitioning out of homelessness and provides proceeds to help the homeless. Great story and make the perfect little gift for girlfriends, sisters, and mom’s!
Krotchet Kids International! I have bought a bunch of their things over the years and they have really expanded what they sell. But their mainstay products are knitwear and all of the beanies are super cute! Also in each one the tag is signed by the person who made it!
Love love love this! My MIL always asks us to donate to an organization for her Christmas gift but I am always left wanting to get her something, this is perfect! Just an FYI, the link for the St. Jude spatula takes you to the Tom’s page!
