Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Ours was busy and filled with lot’s of great visits with friends! In addition, we finally made it to Halal Guys (SO GOOD), lit a fire in our fireplace, and had a great Sunday night making homemade chicken soup and watching the Cubs win! Today I wanted to share a round up of my everyday outfits seen on Instagram lately. Also, I’ve had several people ask me lately how they can shop my Instagram–so I wanted to share a quick refresher!
Like many bloggers, you can shop my outfit items with a program called Liketoknow.it. When I post what I’m wearing along with a “liketoknow.it” link, that means that if you sign up for LiketoKnow. It (click this link to do so!) and then “like” my photo, or any other bloggers photos who use it, you’ll get an email with the links to shop the items in the photos! You only have to sign up once, and you can set your preferences to only receiving one email per day, or an email immediately upon liking a photo.
Now, on to what I’ve been wearing over on Instagram 😉
I recently picked up this sweater at Nordstrom and it is potentially the cutest sweater I have ever purchased. It’s the prettiest blush pink and has the cutest ruffles. Plus, it’s super soft and only $80! What more could you want in a sweater? P.S. You can catch a glimpse of our new fireplace in the background–promise I’m doing a living room reveal soon!
These lace-up pumps are my first pair of lace-up heels (previously I’d only had flats!) and I love them so much. They’re really dainty looking and they have a lot more personality than my plain black pumps!
I’ve been wearing my grey turtleneck nonstop now that the weather is getting chillier more frequently! It was a grey on grey day last week, and I found a nearly exact replica of this scarf right here. (I originally purchased it at Zara years ago before our Ireland trip!)
Our engagement party was SO much fun. It was a great excuse to get all of our closest friends over to the new house. (Almost no one has been over yet since we moved!) My friend Courtney through it for us and it was perfect–Big Star tacos and margaritas, and she even made M&M’s with our faces on them! It seemed like I looked forever for a long sleeved white dress (everything without sleeves felt too summery!) and this one is on sale for only $60 at ShopBop!
A couple weeks back, I tagged along on one of Neal’s work trips to Grand Rapids, MI. Whenever he travels somewhere fun for work, I pack up this little suitcase and jump in the passenger seat. It’s not only adorable, but super lightweight and it fits so much stuff!! I can easily fit a week’s worth of clothing and several pairs of shoes in this little carry-on. (I have the 21″ but it comes in bigger sizes–24 inch and 28 inch)
Some blooms I picked up at Trader Joes before our engagement party (they’re STILL going strong, by the way!) Can’t decide which I love more, our new Lulu & Georgia rug or my little red Repetto flats I got in Paris.
This was such a fun night–Blair, Kelly and I went out for girls’ dinner a couple weeks back. (But not before stopping at Kelly’s to play with Emma first, obviously.) These pants are the best thing EVER. Have you heard of Ponte Pants? They’re like leggings, but thicker, so they’re just as comfy, but you know, actual pants? They’re amazing for travel, and paired with the right shoes, they can look even dressier than black jeans! You’ve also seen these Sole Society booties a lot lately (available on both SoleSociety.com and Nordies!)–let’s just say they’ve been getting a LOT of wear this fall 😉
