Above: Wearing my favorite orangey-red lipstick, “RMS Red” by RMS Beauty, included in the sale! More on it below!
I’m back from Mexico! (Pretty tired, slightly sunburned, but good to be home!)
Our girls trip was so much fun and such a blast. I’ll definitely be sharing a recap of our trip. Today though, I’m sharing 20 of my top Sephora items (skincare, beauty, and haircare!) because today is the last day of their Spring Bonus sale!
Here’s how it works. If you sign up for their email list (i.e. you’re an “insider”), you get 10% off your purchase with code YAYINSIDER. If you’re a VIB or ROUGE member (AKA you spend $350 for VIB, $1000+ for ROUGE) then you get 15% off with code YAYVIB or YAYROUGE! There are really big perks to being part of their email list and loyalty programs which you can check out here if you’re interested! Sephora is my go-to for all my beauty products (tied with Nordstrom, usually it’s whichever is more convenient to shop at for me!).
It’s not just for the awesome perks, but because they accept any returns if you aren’t 110% satisfied with your products! You also always get amazing samples with your online orders AND I’ve found that their staff is some of the most knowledgeable around–I’ve picked up so many tips from Sephora staff over the years!
Anyway, I wanted to share some of my all-time favorite beauty standbys available at Sephora–I’m actually stocking up on a lot of these during the sale, as well as adding a couple new items to my list! Scroll below to see them all!
26 Must-Have Sephora Products:
It Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness Cream:
I’m OBSESSED with this redness reducing cream and have been wearing it as foundation and under-eye concealer. I actually found out about it through my GG Reader Beauty Favorites roundup!! It’s the best color-correcting product I’ve ever used and it makes your skin look the smoothest its ever been! I’ve had so many people message me on Stories thanking me for the recco and that its their new favorite too!
Living Proof Dry Shampoo
This is one of the #1 beauty products I would probably take with me to a Desert Island. It’s the best dry shampoo I’ve ever used and also adds amazing texture to hair!
I’ve used Moroccanoil for YEARS. It’s the best all-purpose hair oil, great for prepping before blow-dry’s, for air-drying, adding moisture, shine, gloss, and repairing damaged hair. Plus, it smells unreal.
Christophe Robin Moisturizing Leave-In Cream
Another longtime hair favorite, I put this in towel-dried hair and let it air dry. It’s an amazing leave-in treatment (and smells amazing too!)
I’m obsessed with this shower cap! I try to go three days in-between washes if I can, and this shower cap is a big game-changer. Plus, it’s actually cute! Tip: Spray on dry shampoo before pulling this on. When you get out of the shower, your hair will be refreshed with no washing necessary!
Burberry Lip Velvet Lip Color
If you love punchy, bold color and a formula that goes on like butter, you’ll love Burberry Lip Velvet! I especially love it in “Bright Plum” which is a pretty berry hue I like to wear out at night!
Best of Drunk Elepant Trial/Travel Kit
I can’t go anywhere without hearing about Drunk Elephant lately. The problem is that there are SO MANY of them that people rave about, so I just added this kit to my cart–you can sample all of their amazing products and then decide which you like best. (Or, all of them, haha!) I’ll report back my findings!
Caudalie Vinoperfect Moisturizing Sorbet:
I absolutely LOVE this moisturizer. it’s super hydrating while being very light at the same time. Caudalie is one of my favorite brands–they’re clean, high quality, and I’ve never used a product of theirs I didn’t like! I have the smaller size which is great for travel! It’s great even for the most sensitive skin!
I use this NARS concealer when I need the most spot coverage (but not under-eyes! I’m not a big fan of it for those, but I have been using the Bye Bye Redness for under-eyes!) I’ve been using this for years and haven’t really found a spot concealer I’ve liked better!
Dior Iconic Overcurl Mascara
I’ve tried SO many mascaras over the years and nothing has topped this one. It has to be the one in the silver tube though, I don’t like the black tube as much!
RMS Beauty “Wild with Desire” Lipstick
If I’m wearing a bright red lip, this is always the orangey-red hue you see me wearing! I absolutely LOVE this formula–it’s matte, so it stays put, but it’s silky and it isn’t drying. Plus, it’s 100% clean with no toxins. I love this brand!
Burberry Eye Color Contour Smoke & Sculpt Pen
If you’re one of those people who just does NOT do the whole eyeshadow thing and cannot grasp it as a whole OR doesn’t want to bother with the whole bulky palette, multiple brushes thing, you will LOVE these eye color pens. The color is super natural looking, you blend with your fingers, and it’s a great way to make your eyes pop–people will know you look gorgeous but won’t be able to put their finger on why!
Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen
I wrote a whole post on why this is my favorite sunscreen right over here! In short, it’s 100% clear, doesn’t leave any residue behind, acts as a makeup primer, and doesn’t make your face feel greasy! This product will change your life!
Urban Decay Up All Night Setting Spray
I use this whenever I need my makeup to last all day and night (I also carried it around in my purse on my wedding!) It works really well and is a staple of lot’s of makeup artists I’ve worked with too, so you KNOW it’s the real deal!
Urban Decay Naked Eye Palette:
This is my new favorite eyeshadow palette! It has every color that any neutral loving girl could ever want and none of the ones you don’t. I use it for both day and night (I’m obsessed with the “creep” color for a smokey eye!)
Benefit POREfressional Pore Reducing Face Primer
If you’re aiming to minimize the appearance of pores and fine lines, you’ll love this primer! I’ve used it on and off for years and always go back to it.
Caudalie Vinoperfect Brightening Essence
If you’re looking to even out your skin tone and lighten dark spots, I swear by this toner from Caudalie! I use a cotton ball to sweep it on morning and night!
Bareminerals Original Mineral Foundation
This and their Complexion Rescue have been staples of mine for as long as I can remember. I have combination skin, so I need something that is more mattifying in the summer if I’m going to be walking around outside, and I use this as a top layer where I need shine control as well as extra coverage. I use the brush below to apply it!
Bareminerals Complexion Rescue
On the flipside, because my skin is combination, it will often be dry in some patches and oily in others–I usually wear this as a base whenever my skin is feeling parched, or on a “good skin” day, I’ll wear it alone if I don’t really feel like putting a lot of makeup on. It’s light to medium coverage (using the below brush will result in a fuller coverage, just FYI). It helps to make your skin more even and goes a LONG way to hydrate it with regular use. If you’re looking for a “BB” or “CC” type cream, this is a good one. It also has SPF which is great for a 2 in 1 product.
Sephora Full Coverage Foundation Buffing Brush:
I have the older version of this brush and I really love this over other foundation brushes because it’s full coverage, which allows you to essentially buff and stippling your product on vs. just swiping it on like a lot of foundation brushes.
Armani Lip Maestro in #500
My friend Leia (who I was just in Mexico with) got us all hooked on this lip color! It’s like a stain/gloss/lipstick all in one. It’s really hard to explain but it feels AMAZING on and #500 is the prettiest peachy nude hue! I’m going to be living in this during the summer, I know it.
Origins Active Charcoal Mask
This is probably one of the first masks I ever bought and it continues to be my favorite. It’s great for fighting breakouts and whenever your skin needs a detox!
Peter Thomas Roth FirmRX Peel
This is a GODSEND when your skin is dry and flaky and you can’t put foundation on without it flaking off. (So embarassing). It’s seriously amazing and I don’t know what I would do without it. I buy it in two bottles at a time so I never run out. It’s a gentle peel that exfoliates but also leaves your skin looking firm and fresh.
Fresh Soy Cleanser
Another product I’ve been hearing about for years but just recently pulled the trigger on after a reader recommended it! I’m officially obsessed–it’s gentle and doesn’t leave your skin feeling “stripped” afterwords, and I swear it’s helped improve my complexion!
NARS “The Multiple” Stick
I started using this product over a decade ago and I’m still just as obsessed. Get it in a blush color to add the perfect flush, or go with the non-colored shimmer (that’s what I have, called “Copacabana”) for the perfect natural, dewy-looking highlighter. Blend with your fingers or a beauty blender. I love that it’s a stick, so it’s great for travel.
