Romper: Everly at Nordstrom (I also love this one, this one that are similar. This one is almost identical, but with cap sleeves! // Shoes: “Terry” sandals from B.P. (only $69!) I also love this pair of strappy slides // Straw Bag: Mar Y Sol (I also love this version, this version, and how cute is this little straw clutch?) // Sunglasses: Ray Ban (I’m wearing the folding version which are AMAZING for travel. Similar non-folding version here that is less expensive. These are also similar and only $12 and these for $24!) // Lipstick: Burberry Bright Plum // Initial necklace: identical here in gold and rose gold! I also love this version // Bracelet: Kendra Scott (c/o)
You may remember this adorable little thing from Insta stories a couple weeks back. (I shared my latest Nordstrom haul on stories right before Memorial Day :-P)
I love love the tie-in-front-cut-out-bow-ish-thingy detail. What are we calling this trend, you guys? You know what I’m talking about. How there’s the little cut out in the mid-section?
Because I’m just so in with the trends as you know. (Not really.)
I’m actually terrible with knowing what’s actually “on trend” and what the cool kids are doing these days. I would feel like a fish out of water at Fashion Week. (Couldn’t tell you any trends that came off the runway this year.) True story: sometimes brands and websites email me for interviews about my favorite seasonal trends and I’m like “ummmmm…dresses?” I don’t know. Seriously. I just buy what I like!
(So the next time you feel silly for not knowing what’s “in” or “out”–don’t worry–because I don’t actually either. Haha!) I think it’s much better to buy what you love instead of worrying about what’s cool or not!
This is one out of 100 reasons I love shopping at Nordstrom–because so much of their selection is the perfect mix of “on trend” meets “classic staple.” (But never those REALLY ridiculous trends where you’re like, “SERIOUSLY I want to meet the person who would ever purchase such a thing.”) They have so many cute pieces that they just got in for summer. (Shop ’em all right here!) Some of my favorite brands to shop here: Topshop, Madewell, Leith, Lush, and B.P. to name a few!
Anyway. Trendy or not trendy, this romper is adorable any way you slice it. I think we can call this the trend the “tie front trend”–does that sound good? The seersucker also makes the romper so classic, timeless, and I love how it’s almost vintage-inspired. The best part is that it’s only $49. Wahoo!

Speaking of summer trends, another one I can really get behind–straw bags! Why did we think they were just for the beach before? This one is by Mar Y Sol, and there are so many different variations.
You’ve also seen these shoes about a dozen times by now, but what can I say–I wear them weekly! They are such a great price and they really are the most comfortable heeled sandals I own. (They also come in black!)
These sunnies are also one of my favorite accessories ever. They fold up into a teeny-tiny case, and are the best travel sunglasses because they take up barely any room in your purse! They also come in a classic gold (non mirrored) version that I’m really close to pulling the trigger on. I’m listing some others below too (budget-friendly dupes too, although, they sadly don’t fold!)

Hope you have a great Tuesday!
Thank you to Nordstrom, one of my favorite retailers, for sponsoring this post!
