Fresh off the plane from Oregon, I am so ready for the weekend! A lazy Saturday sounds like a great cure for that 4 hour flight and extra jet lag.
Neal & I had so much fun visiting my family back home for the holidays (more on that in a post to come!) This particular shoot was a breath of fresh air (literally) and a nice change of scenery to my Gold Coast concrete jungle setting.
Having found this coat on sale at Anthropologie the day before I left Chicago, I was so excited both because my wardrobe was severely lacking in medium weight coats and I felt ombre wool in particular really exuded outdoorsy central oregon hipster.
Anyway. I pretty much lived in my new coat and hardly ever removed these cowboy boots, which were my 1 year anniversary present from Neal (purchased on our Nashville trip.) All in all I think I successfully pulled off Oregonian Chic. I’m still craving another Stumptown Coffee, but frigid as Chicago winters are, I’m glad to be back to the icebox I call home.
