I don’t know about you, but juice cleanses give me the willies.
Give me carbs or give me death.
I do, however, LOVE a great juice. Like, really do love juice. Especially green ones, because frankly it’s hard enough for me to eat three full meals a day (the whole breakfast time period always escapes me) much less scarfing down multiple servings of fruits and veggies. Thus, hello, my friend green juice.
So when Juice Rx reached out to me to ask if I wanted to try some juice. I said, well, obviously. And I’m so glad I did, because these little juices are damn good.
They also have 3 pounds of organic fruits and veggies in every bottle! Whoa man, my diet hasn’t been this balanced in years.
(My mom will be so proud of me when she reads this. Me finding a way to sneak more fruits and veggies in my diet and all. Hi, Lynn!)
No, I will not replace my diet with juice only. But if that’s your thing, I’m pretty sure this is the way to go. I’ve seen a lot of miserable people go through juice cleanses and I think if I weren’t such a carb pirate I think I would have a relatively positive experience with a Juice Rx cleanse.
However, I’m not juicing, and that’s okay, because I still want these little juice gems in my fridge every day, all the time. I even got wild and went through two in a 12 hour period. One of them you didn’t even see here because I accidentally drank it too fast (unfortunately half empty juice bottles don’t look as good in photos). I’m still dreaming about that Cucumber Mint flavor especially, but each of them were quite delightful. (Plus, loved that they delivered right to my door!)
I always love finding a new local company with a compelling story. And this one was definitely a happy ending for me!
What do you think, will you try it out? Do you “juice”? Or are you just a juice-lover? Either way, let me know how you like Juice Rx!
