You guys have probably heard me joke that Neal is more stylish than I am. (Although, jokes aside, it’s completely true.)
One thing we both love is finding local brands who are doing everything right.
(And then I gush about them on the internet, because, you know, that’s my thing.)
One of these brands is Stock Manufacturing–a company we discovered at Dose Market a couple years ago, when he bought this navy jacket. They’re a local group of Chicago guys who wanted to fill the gap between well made menswear and affordable clothing, so they opened up their own factory in Chicago, and in turn, helped create more jobs for people in the Windy City. Since then, Neal’s been drawn to their outerwear and shirts, like this popover, in particular.
In a word, they’re pretty awesome. And so are their clothes. Perfect for any fall date night, guys-night, and you know, pretty much anything in between.
So if your guy is desperately needed to build a wardrobe of incredibly well-made, affordable, upgraded classics, this company is everything and more. (They also have an awesome store in the West Loop!)
Another one of Neal’s favorite brands worth noting? Shinola. Another midwestern brand based in Detroit, which has made quite a name for themselves in the way of quality watches. We both love their vintage-inspired aesthetic, as well as the story behind their products handmade in Detroit.
