The cat’s out of the bag!
You guys remember when I shared on Instagram and last week’s post that I’m testing out a mystery haircare product for Walgreens? (One of the more intriguing projects I’ve worked on as a blogger, I think!)
They sent me two unlabeled bottles of shampoo and conditioner for me to blind test for a couple weeks, and share my thoughts.
Admittedly, this made me a little nervous as I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. I really loved how soft it made my hair and was impressed with the amount of moisture it left in it, especially for a brand that wasn’t from a salon.
Well–as you can see from the little gif I made above–it’s Dove! Their Nutritive Solutions shampoo and conditioner to be exact.
I wasn’t surprised when I found out the news, because I’ve been really loving my Dove Hair Mask lately, and this shampoo and conditioner also did not disappoint! I’ve loved Dove products for years (I also use Dove’s deodorant, lotion, and body wash, but for some reason it took me this long to get into their shampoo and conditioner!)
Overall takeaways from testing out Dove Nutritive Solutions…
One of the better drugstore shampoos and conditioners I’ve tried to date.
The smell is a fresh, light scent, as you would expect with a Dove product.
Price point is a huge perk, obviously. Plus, right now there’s a Buy One Get One 50% off deal on these products at Walgreens, and 1,000 extra points when you use your Walgreens card!
The formula made my hair silky and smooth, as the product promises, smoother hair in just one wash.

Have you tried these Dove products before? What did you think?
This post was sponsored by Lunchbox, however, all opinions are 100% my own!
I thought I recognized those bottles! LOVE Dove (ha, apparently I like rhyming, too)! Thanks for sharing, Jess 🙂

Hahaha I totally thought the exact thing and almost typed “I’m a poet and I didn’t even know it” but thought it was a little 3rd grade passé ;-P
I love Dove! What a fun reveal!

Thanks Erin! Hahah I’ve been trying to master the stop motion gif thing lately but it’s a little trickier than it looks! 🙂
