Anndddd we’re back, with another gift guide!
Today, we’re diving into a really fun category: one of a kind gifts from one of my FAVORITE websites of all time–Etsy!
Why I love Etsy:
Etsy is a big website that allows small makers all over the world to sell their goods easily and affordably! It’s a win-win for everyone–we can find the most unique, one of a kind gifts we’d never get anywhere else, and also help support small shops and makers. It’s something that everyone can feel good about.
How to shop for one of a kind gifts on Etsy:
There are a bunch of different ways I like to shop Etsy and find the latest, coolest stuff. For one, I love to keep tabs on the Etsy Blog. They have a ton of different features, but my favorite to browse is their featured shops section. Once you find a shop you like, you can “favorite” it, so it’s easy to check back for new inventory, or find them again when you need to purchase a gift!
Another trick–you can search Etsy just like you would Pinterest! They have these really nifty keyword suggestions that pre-populate below the search bar to help you narrow down your search and find what you’re looking for. (See below!)
Pretty cool, huh?
Other than that, right now, the easiest way to shop their site is through their homepage, which they have set up as an easily searchable gift guide! They have about every category you can think of, and it makes it really easy to find what you’re looking for.
So, now that you know the lay of the land on how to shop the site, let’s jump into my personal favorites!
My favorite one of a kind gift ideas:
First, I absolutely love these adorable mugs from A Little Tinsel–something that any home decor lover or coffee fiend will love. They’re perfect for enjoying hot spiced wine by the fire, too!
I’ve never met ANYONE who didn’t love burrata! (They come in lot’s of other varieties, too!) This is a great gift for anyone who loves to cook, or even to snag as a fun little project while everyone is cooped up inside over the holiday! The shop is also based in Portland, OR, so I may be a bit biased ?
I absolutely LOVE Wax & Wane candles! I’ve gotten to know the maker, Hannah, through Etsy message (that doesn’t sound creepy–but we became “online friends” and she’s so sweet!) She’s also originally from Oregon! I guess I’m just naturally drawn to other Pacific Northwesterners? ?
Not only do they smell great, but they’re handmade and come in the prettiest packaging!
You can also customize your own candles and labels (they would be great for wedding favors as well!)
How cute is this pom pom beanie? It’s so affordable for only $30 and I love the chunky cableknit pattern. Also, how cute would this miniature version be for a baby gift?!
For the gardener in your family, these garden stakes are really fun and come in copper and gold as well! You can customize them and select what you want each label to say, too!
If you’re looking for more gifts for her…I mean, who WOULDN’T love this gift? ? Perfect for everyone from coworkers to moms to teachers!
Another amazing print from Cassandra’s etsy shop! She has the coolest photos and they make great gifts for art and home decor lovers!
Coordinates jewelry: Pricing varies
I have a coordinates necklace from my sister in law a few Christmases ago that has the longitude and latitude of my hometown in Oregon, and a bracelet from my friends that has the coordinates of our wedding venue! (You know, before it got moved with 3 days to spare, which makes it even better, haha!) I love them both and they make such sweet gifts! There are tons of sellers that make them on Etsy–I’m going to round up a few of my favorites in the widget below!
Vintage Coin Cufflinks: $69+
I got these Irish Coin cufflinks for Neal a few years ago, and they were such a hit. He wore them on our wedding, too ❤️ This Etsy store stocks them in lot’s of different varieties–from U.S. coins to Irish, British, French, Polish and more. They make a really amazing, unique gift for any guy who is into history or has close ties to his heritage.
I just discovered this shop. I am OBSESSED. She’s based in Boston and makes the most gorgeous knit items from these snood scarves (come in lot’s of colors) to beanies. She is so talented!
You guys know I’m a sucker for dainty jewelry. I absolutely love this ring! It’s a sweet personalized gift idea for a mom too. You can use her kids initials!
Finally, a cool way for any guy to keep his nightstand or desk organized. It has everything he needs at arms reach (and finally, a place to put his watches ?) A great gift for dad, your brother, or your boyfriend/husband!
