Huge thanks to Ray-Ban and ShopStyle for sponsoring this post and an even bigger thanks to YOU, my readers, for supporting the brands that keep this blog going!
As you guys know, I rarely wear sunglasses that AREN’T Ray-Ban. They are my favorite brand of sunglasses and have been for pretty much my entire adult life. Neal got me my first pair–classic Aviators–when we first started dating!
I remember the first time we met (when we started working together at the age of 22) the fact that he wore Ray-Bans really stood out to me. I was very impressed that despite being a poor college grad driving around his Papa’s old Buick, he made the effort to invest in really nice, stylish sunglasses. ?
A lot has changed since then, but our love for Ray-Ban has not! (Remember this post on all the pairs we have between the two of us!? Guess I need to update it with some new additions!)
A few reasons why I love Ray-Ban sunnies: First, their style–obviously. They make classic designs that never go out of fashion. Second–the quality. We’ve both owned Ray-Bans for years and years, and they withstand the test of time. Each pair is handcrafted in Italy and is made to last. Third–each pair offers 100% UV sun protection–which is, you know, kind of a big deal.
Anyway–I’m really excited to be working with them today sharing three new styles, in case you’re in the market for a new pair!
But first, a funny story.
Last weekend, the Loftus crew went to Arlington Racetrack (have you been? It’s SO beautiful and so fun! We can’t wait to go back) to celebrate Neal’s Aunt Margie’s birthday. I’m not kidding you–like HALF of the Loftus family was wearing Ray-Bans. ?I was like, “GUYS. This is so timely. I need selfies with all of you for my Ray-Ban post!”
I present to you–the Loftus Family Ray-Ban Selfie Grid! Shout out to Lizzie, Midge, Uncle Liam, Kathleen, Andrew and Caroline for all repping the brand hard.

Okay–now that we’ve established that the Ray-Ban roots run deep over here, I’m excited to show you three new pairs I’m loving!
First, the Wayfarer II–how ADORABLE are these? Very similar to their classic Wayfarers (which Neal has…obviously) but rounded at the bottom. If you have always loved the look of the originals but want something a little bit different and more unique–you will absolutely love these.
Second–another twist on a classic–these Aviators with a hexagonal frame! They’re like my favorite classic Aviators and round sunnies had a baby and VOILA, a new shape! I loveee the contrast of the gold frames with the dark lenses! They are the 54mm, which seems to be the right size for my face when it comes to aviators. My Ray-Ban Retro sunglasses (that I wear in like every blog post ?) are the 53mm vs the 50mm, for reference!)
Definitely a big trendy twist for Ray-Ban– their cat-eye! (Which is a re-make of the 60’s Ray-Ban classic cat-eye!) I love cat-eye sunnies because, as you know, I love me anything vintage inspired. I feel like an old Hollywood star in them. They’re just plain FUN and a nice pair to mix up a collection of classics!
