Top: Topshop at Nordstrom (You saw it first on Instagram!) They have so many cute floral tops right now! (I think we need a whole separate blog post on that topic!) I also love this one, this one, this one, and this one. // Jeans: J.Brand “Maria” (I also have them in “Bluebird” wash–I love, love these jeans!) // Bag: bp (it’s only $35!) comes in black, white and beige too. // Shoes: Steve Madden (only $55!) and come in so many colors (black, camel, hot pink, silver, chartreuse, glitter, olive–you name it, they probably have the color! They even come in black with a gold heel!) They also have a version with a cork heel–so cute!!
Itssss FRIDAY! Again! Wahoo!
We’re pretty happy that temps are on the rise again here in Chicago. (Phew!) So looks like spring IS maybe going to arrive soon after all?
I’m so excited for this weekend as it’s the first one in as long as I can remember that isn’t packed with plans! This never happens! I can’t wait to stay in and relax, wake up early, go to yoga, and then play the rest by ear. (I think this means I’m getting really old?) I think we’ll savor the last of winter (hopefully) with one of our laziest weekends yet 😉
We’ve gotten really into Peaky Blinders–have you watched it? It’s a Netflix show about an English gang in the twenties–it is SO good. We’re almost all the way through it and I don’t know what we’re going to do with our time when it’s over. We’ve also gotten really into Big Little Lies (but UGH. You can’t binge watch it!)
Anyway, back to shoes. Today, we’re talking about spring shoes–because, spring is coming, remember?
(Fun behind-the-scenes fact: The day we shot this outfit it was during that HORRIBLE cold spell we had last Friday where it was literally 5 degrees. Thank goodness for the Lincoln Park Conservatory! It was toasty warm in there!)
I just picked up these Steve Madden sandals at Nordstrom last week and I know they are going to be my #1 most worn pair of sandals this spring and summer. (Sam Edelman also makes a nearly identical pair–Kelly raves about them!) They’re really polished, they come in so many colors, and the low block heel is the perfect height for pretty much any situation I can think of–even work! (Okay, for some people, they wouldn’t work for a 9-5. I however, would’ve worn them to work back in the day.)
Shop more block-heel sandals:
I got the blush pink color (similar here, too!) because it’s my favorite neutral for spring. I paired with this floral top and white pants! (Wouldn’t this be such a cute outfit for Easter?) These shoes are also really cute with distressed jeans like these or these and a classic blouse, and perfect with a pretty floral maxi dress. (You’ll see this one on the blog next week!)
BUT.
There is a but.
There are lots of OTHER cute shoes for spring that I’m loving lately too. Let’s explore them all, shall we?
In partnership with Nordstrom. Photography by Jules Kennedy.
Shop my 15 other favorite spring shoes below:
Classic ballet flats with an ankle wrap–feminine and comfy! Plus, they’re super versatile–they’ll look so cute with jeans, with a pencil skirt for work, or with a flirty dress.
I’m a HUGE fan of espadrilles for spring and summer. I love two things about this pair: They’re leather instead of canvas, so they won’t get dirty, and of course–they’re lace-ups!
I’ve been eyeing this style for SO long–they’re just so fun and a nice mix-up from your regular neutral sandal. They’re almost like booties x sandals! (Shooties?) Also come in black.
(More ankle wraps. Are you sensing a pattern? Sorry!) I love that these have the block heel, but are close-toed, so you can start wearing them like…today! They come in several colors.
This shoe combines all of my favorite things–mules, loafers, and blush! So cute! I think everyone needs a pair of pink mules!
I’ve been wearing my cap-toe block heels nonstop. Let’s be honest, they look like Chanel for like 1/10th of the price. Plus, this pair is made to order! How cool is that?
Very similar to the blush version I’m wearing today, but with ankle wraps AND tassels! I mean….? These come in several colors, too!
I am OBSESSED with these loafers. It took all the willpower I had not to buy them last time I was in Nordstrom. But my next trip…I think I have to do it.
I love how classic and simple these leather slides are. They’re the kind of sandals that you live in all spring and summer!
Naked heels–perhaps the most versatile heel one can own! They go with everything from evening gowns to your favorite pair of jeans.
You guys know how much I love my Jack Purcells! I definitely want to add another pair of classic converse to my rotation, and I think the “shoreline” sneakers are so cute. They’re a little more refined and summery than your average converse.
I also bought this exact pair recently! I think they’re the most comfy high-heels I own. They are so flattering too–they make your legs look so long!
I can’t get over these strappy lace-ups. Comfy, adorable, and they make an awesome statement yet somehow still remain neutral!
Espadrilles x Cap Toes unite! It’s easy to see why I love these so much. Like the version above, they’re leather, so they wipe clean, and will last a long time! They’re kind of like espadrilles meets sneakers?
You know how great the Sam Edelman Petty Chelsea booties are, right? Well–this is the springy version! I love the look of the perforated finish, plus, it makes it easy to wear these in between seasons and well into spring. (And again in fall!)
SO BEAUTIFUL! Why the heck don’t we wear the same size. THIS IS GETTING RIDICULOUS 😉 xoxo!
Love all of the shoes! I have that cute floral top, it’s such a good spring piece! It looks so pretty on you 🙂

Couple questions:
How do you get the widget with the scroll bar where you can scroll between different shoes on your wordpress blog? I want this widget for when i do product posts or shop oriented posts! 🙂 Been trying to get it on mine forever now but have no clue how! I see you have it in your side bar area and within this post (see attached image for the item i am referring to )
Thanks doll!! <3

Hi Christina! This is through my affiliate network called RewardStyle. You have to apply to it and be accepted, but there’s a similar program called ShopStyle Collective that you can sign up for right away (not invitation only)–I’d start with that! I run a separate blogging website called Blogging4Keeps.com with my friend Blair, and she’s actually doing a post on that very subject later today, so check the site this afternoon 😉
Actually want all of these shoes! Dying for a pair of the Chanel lookalikes. You look gorgeous too 🙂
