Hello from NYC!
Like I mentioned yesterday, I’m here for a work project and I can’t wait to share more details on soon! We’re doing a video/photo shoot and I had my wardrobe fitting yesterday and today we’re busy shooting all day! I am EXHAUSTED from all this crazy travel and lack of sleep but in the best way possible–this is such a cool project and I can’t wait to share what I’ve been up to ? (But seriously my eyes are crossing writing this and I can’t even imagine how many typos you’re about to endure so sincere apologies in advance. The good news is that I got two free drink vouchers at my hotel when I checked in, so at least there’s free wine to keep me going, am I right!? ?)
Anyway, today I had to share my latest french-girl-style brand obsession–Sezane! I’ve been meaning to do a post on them for awhile now but hadn’t gotten around to it, and they JUST launched their new pretty Spring items and you’re going to fall in love!
Sezane, as I mentioned, is a French brand that is still fairly new to the U.S. I think I first discovered them on (duh) Cup of Jo, my favorite blog. I’ve never actually ordered anything from them though because I seriously cannot narrow down what I actually WANT because all of their items are so beautiful–think classically cut, feminine silhouettes in beautiful fabrics–each prettier than the next, making it easy to achieve that “perfectly undone” French-girl vibe. Can you help me choose!?
I’ll stop gushing and cut to the chase. Read on for some of my favorite items! Then leave your favorites in the comments below to help me decide what to order!
My New Favorite French-Girl Brand:
A new twist on a classic jean jacket.
I’ve never seen a jacket quite like this one! I’ve been on the hunt for a classic version that wasn’t too boxy and not too distressed. (So many of them are super edgy, you know?!)
I absolutely LOVE how different this one is. The silhouette is insanely flattering and the fabric is a denim-canvas, making it the perfect weight for Spring. The price isn’t half-bad either! $145
This technically isn’t part of their spring collection but I’ve been eyeing it for months. I love how dainty this top is with the intricate lace detailing and side bow. The combo of sleeves with the extra dip in the neckline makes it sexy yet age appropriate without trying too hard. $120
I’ve been looking for a small (but large enough to fit the essentials) wear day-and-night bag, and I think this is it! I love the crocodile leather and that it comes with two straps–one full leather and one jewelry-chain! $340
Sezane make so many beautiful blouses–I’m highlighting several floral favorites in here, but I love the dainty print of this one! The coolest part about it is that it’s their featured “Demain” shirt–each month they come out with a new shirt where the profits go directly to their charity initiative in aid of children’s education. $148
Another top that toes the line between understated and sexy! What could be better? It’s a perfect date-night top! $129
I love that this top is almost pajama-chic with the piping detail on the collar and the sleeves. Plus, the color is amazing–I’ve been loving greens lately! $120
There are so many details to love about this top–the color, the polka dot pattern, the wrap detail–the side bow! I’ll take it all please! $120
Same green color and pattern as the pretty top above, but in a beautiful tired dress! I love that it’s a little bit different but still very classic. $190
And another stunner! Between the v-neck, the wrap front, and the shorter hemline, this dress is universally flattering on so many different shapes and sizes! $180
You know my love of silk cami tops, and this one is no different. Love the pretty ecru color for spring and the dainty lace details! $90
They make this BEAUTIFUL trousers that I think would be soo pretty for the office but also more casual occasions on the weekends as well! These come in a blushy-nude as well as black! $115
I’m usually kindof iffy about jumpsuits. I never really think they’re that “me”–but this one is actually perfect. $250
I mean…do I need to say an more? I think I have a red shoe problem–but I can’t help it. They just make every outfit look SO cute, and these chunky midi heels are comfy, too! $205
These heels have bows on the toes! (And they come in colors other than red too ? ) I love the thickness of the heel as well! They’ll make even a t-shirt and jeans look like a million bucks. $205
Speaking of making a statement, these sandals couldn’t be any more chic. I love the wrap-around detail with the tassels! $205
This bucket bag comes in lot’s of colors, but this rusty orangey-red is my favorite because it makes a great statement but is also a perfect color for all seasons.$280
