Sometimes I like to pretend that I don’t wince every time I look at Rach Parcell’s amazing closet. But then I realize, who am I kidding? I mean, look at all those shoes!
Sometimes the comparison game really gets the best of me. Especially in the world we live in, where all you see is everyone else’s highlight reel. It’s easy to get caught up in everyone else’s rows and rows of Jimmy Choos and Louboutins, and shelves of Chloe bags, and chic Phillip Lim satchels. Am I right? Does this ever happen to you?
That’s why I was really excited when I heard about this new website, The Wrld.
It’s a global online retailer (AKA a high-end luxury second hand store that you can shop from your couch). Based in New York, the site offers over 150+ global and local designer brands, at up to 90% off–second hand, and immaculately cared for. It gives people like me (us!) the ability to score some really great, quality items that we might not be able to stomach otherwise. (Like a classic Louis Vuitton tote for $328–68% off! Or some adorable DVF peep toe booties for $50–83% off!) They’ve also got a great selection of classic LBD’s from designers like Calvin Klein and Theory.
At first this seemed too good to be true, but I was reassured when I discovered they hand inspect and authenticate each item, and offer hassle-free returns. I’ve purchased some designer things on eBay before, but as you know, eBay purchases can get a little dicy from time to time! I love the easy return policy and guaranteed authenticity you get with this site.
Another great thing about the site is that they post new finds every day, so the selection you find one day is always different than the next. It’s definitely an online treasure hunt, but one that is quick, easy, and you don’t have to sort through ton’s of junk to find something you love–like you would at any other second hand store.
Shop some of my favorites below. You can also get $25 off any order of $75 or more, available through March 31st! Just use the code JessSpring.
