Dress: Free People Love Of My Life Dress c/o Shopbop but also available at Nordstrom in other colors (wearing XS. Runs TTS) I LOVE Free People dresses–I think they have so many great ones for summer! Also love this one by Gal Meets Glam if you want a more modest/classic version without such a deep v in the front! I also love this linen midi which I styled here–also very versatile and a totally different look! Sandals: Something Navy for Nordstrom–they are shockingly comfortable! Come in black leather and an adorable black and white calf hair animal print too! Purse: Topshop (they have the CUTEST purses right now!) Lipstick: Beautycounter Red
FULLYYY intended on getting this post up YESTERDAY, but–as you know. I’m still in recovery mode from my friend Kai’s bachelorette party in Vegas and *I cannot hang like I used to*
I literally said out loud to my friends, “I wish I had the kind of job where I could call in sick tomorrow”–I was so tired, and I am the most miserable, non-functioning human without sleep. I realized that yes, it does really suck that when you work for yourself and want to take a day off, you don’t get paid. But guess what? I still CAN call off sick if I decide that’s what’s best for me. So…long story short, I chose self care and sleeping in yesterday instead of getting a blog post up, and that’s something I haven’t always been able to do in the past–so that made me proud!
(Hopefully you understand. I figured you would. Because you’re the best.) ?
Anyway! I’m back, feeling better, more hydrated, and happy to be popping in with a report on your top-selling items this month! I started doing these roundups this past winter and somehow fell off the wagon, but I think they’re such a great picture of all the great items you may have missed in May! So, here we go!
HERE ARE TOP 12 GG READER BEST SELLERS – MAY EDITION:
No shocker here–my How To Wear Joggers 6 Ways post was a big hit, and these linen joggers were too! They are the perfect “in between”–like classy sweats! They’re especially perfect for summer travel.
My favorite sweater blazer–the Sophie blazer from J.Crew was marked down during their big Memorial Day Sale–AND it’s also 30% off RIGHT NOW!!
So many of you snapped this one up! It’s seriously the best staple in and out of the office. (Also, you saw Molly wear it in our latest What I Wore to Work post!)
20% off right now! $69.99! (Note: You have to click on the color ‘navy’ otherwise it looks like it’s sold out, but it isn’t!) I lovvveee this dress–I haven’t had a chance to wear it on the blog, but have worn it several times in the past couple of weeks! So versatile and classic! Love the pretty button front!
I dedicated a whole blog post to why I love these no-slip Amazon ankle socks–so many of you have messaged me saying you love them too!
If you caught our firstWhat I Wore to Work post–this was Paisleigh’s top work wardrobe staple–a super budget-friendly blazer from Target! No surprise it was one of this month’s bestsellers!
These insanely budget-friendly, on-sale shorts (only $27 and still on sale!!) were featured in one of my sale round-ups and so many of you snapped them up! I don’t blame you–they look like the best comfy, classic vacation shorts!
Another featured sale roundup highlight–these Zella leggings–HOW are these still in stock AND still on sale? You know Zella is one of my fave activewear brands and I rarely see it marked down at such a steal! Currently on sale for under $40!
My new favorite summer sandals: the Everlane Day Sandals are everything you thought they would be and more. The butteriest leather–the prettiest rich caramelly color (but come in lot’s of other colors too!) I’ve already walked miles in them and never one blister! Worth every penny!
Also not a shocker, my much anticipated review of Everlane’s New Japanese Go Weave Jumpsuit was another hit, despite it being posted on the second to last day of the month–it still was a top 10 bestseller for all of May! ?? For good reason–I’m truly obsessed. It will be a year round staple for years to come! See my full review of it here!
