Fringe cardigan: c/o ChicWish (True to size, I’m wearing a size small!) Also comes in winter white // Striped tee: Old, but I love this similar version, this drapey version and this short sleeved version (all super budget-friendly!) // Camera bag/ purse: c/o Lo & Sons (Blair has it in grey, and it comes in black, too!) // Jeans: Levi’s // ‘Luella’ Mules: c/o Sole Society (I also love them in brown!)
GUYS!
Happy weekend!
Is it just me, or did the week start out with Monday feeling like Wednesday? I swear my days have been off all week–so bizarre!
I also am pretty excited because (fingers crossed) if all goes well, I’m going to be launching something very new and pretty next week.
(It might be “ewnay logbay esignday” in pig-latin.)
But you know how I am with technology so if there’s a delay you won’t be that surprised BUT wish me luck, really. And get so excited. It’s gunna be greaaaattt.
Let’s talk about this outfit though (because, speaking of exciting). I wore this outfit over to Blair’s earlier this week to work on Blogging For Keeps (big things coming your way on that front, too!) and it was the perfect work day combo.
I really can’t pick a favorite item out of this line-up, everything is just too good. From the cozy fringe cardigan, to my new camera bag that is so chic you’d never even guess it was a camera bag, to the comfiest most beautiful navy mules, and the jeans that have *just*the right amount of distressing.
Where do I begin.
Let’s talk about the bag first. It’s from Lo & Sons, and you know I’m a fan of their Pearl cross-body. Well, I hate to pick favorites, but this camera bag might be a new all-time high. (I wish I would’ve had this for Paris!)
It’s super roomy, fits my camera with lens, battery, along with my wallet, and some small makeup essentials. It’s actually a camera purse, because you don’t even NEED a purse when you carry it.
Moving onto the sweater. It has fringe, and it’s cozy (sold, and sold!)–almost like a sweater/jacket combination. (AKA ideal for Chicago weather this time of year!) It’s from Chicwish–which has the cutest stuff and most of it is well under $100!
Finally–last but not least, the SHOOEESS. How to die for are these pretty mules? Navy suede? (*Heart emoji*) I’m not going to lie, I’ve bought a few different pairs of mules now and always ended up sending them back or donating them because they pinched and gave my toes such bad blisters! These are just the opposite–I actually walked halfway down Michigan Avenue in them before I stopped and put my loafers on to get on the el. I love the criss-cross detail on them too.
I will probably wear them this weekend to Neal’s 10 year reunion (YIKES we’re getting old!) I’m also excited because one of his best high school friends is coming into town to stay with us for the weekend. (On that note, I should REALLY go tidy up the guest bedroom…)

Super cute!! I would say that my military jacket and long cardigan are some of my favorite fall transition staples. That camera bag look amazing!
Hey Jess, happy fall! I love this look!! That cardi is adorable – and anything with slits on the sides is super slimming. I may have to go buy it…
Also I just got my Lo & Sons Claremont in the same color as well! It’s amazing. It holds SO much. I also have their Seville tote – you should check it out. You can swap the shells and have different colors.
PS – when did you hair get so long – its beautiful! I’m jealous!
Such a chic look! This navy mules are the cutest!

Jess I’ve been lusting over that bag for ages now!! It just seems so perfect for carrying around your camera without being the girl carrying the huge ugly camera bag haha! It looks so pretty!
