Top: Lush–runs TTS and comes in so many cute colors & patterns! // Skirt: BlankNYC–runs TTS (also comes in a really pretty orangey-brown!) // Boots: Stuart Weitzman Lowlands (similar Stuart Weitzmans on sale here, and the Highlands are on sale at Zappos!) Also, my favorite budget-friendly dupes are on sale for under $200 right here! // Bag: Sole Society (under $50!) // Lips: MAC “Relentlessly Red” (I also love Beautycounters lip sheers–which I featured in yesterdays post– they’re great for everyday and have no bad stuff in them!) // Hair: curled with a T3 whirl curling wand (my T3 blow dryer that I LOVE is also on sale right now! It makes my hair noticeably more shiny than any other blow dryer!)
Ah, late July.
It’s all about warm evening walks, rosé on the patio, and…suede mini skirts and OTK boots?
I know, you’re like–GET OUT OF HERE. IT’S STILL SUMMER. (I was legitimately ANGRY to see a “Pumpkin Spice” Quaker Oatmeal display at the Jewel yesterday) but my biggest tip in being prepared for fall on a budget is to start buying your fall items while it’s still summer!
Thus…why I am wearing this adorable fall outfit in the midst of July. You’ll thank me later, I promise! (Also, it was a cool day when we shot this, so it really did feel like fall, haha!) I’m not gunna lie, I did a little happy dance when I pulled on these boots again. Plus, having cute fall items gives you something to look forward to at the end of summer.
Anyyyyway. Two things, in particular, that you’ll want to snap up now before they’re gone!
OTK Boots
I have two favorite pairs of OTK boots: one budget friendly version (the Blondo Olivia’s), and one expensive version (the Stuart Weitzman Lowlands). That being said…I have good news and bad news 😛
The bad news is that a very similar pair of Stewart Weitzman boots (the Elevated boots) were on major sale. However, they are now almost fully sold out–BUT, keep an eye out on Friday, in case they re-stock them when the Nordstrom sale goes public!
And the GOOD news–is that the budget-friendly Blondo pair is under $200 and still fully stocked! I absolutely love these boots–they have elastic in the back, so they form to your calf (if you have issues finding boots that snuggly fit your calf, you will love these!) and, the best part–they’re waterproof. They run true to size, I’m wearing a size 8!
Also worth noting, the Stuart Weitzman Highlands are on insane sale and fully stocked on Zappos right now, if you’ve been wanting that pair! (Just like mine that I’m wearing here, but with a heel!)
The Suede Mini
Another staple I can’t wait to pull back out again in the fall–suede mini skirts! I absolutely love the color of this skirt (which also comes in the prettiest burnt orangey-brown!) Also runs TTS. It’s going quickly though, just FYI, so if you see your size I’d grab it fast! Mini skirts and OTK boots are one of my very favorite combinations for fall. I feels very 60’s/70’s, don’t you think?
This ruffle bell sleeved top pairs so well with it, and comes in tons of colors! (Also runs TTS). You don’t have to wait until fall to wear it though– looks so cute with jean shorts (I’ve been wearing this pair from Topshop nonstop lately) and this under $50 bag from Sole Society is an awesome year-round black cross-body! I think the gold ring & tassel detail makes it look so chic and high-end!

In other news, our new dining table arrived yesterday! EEEEEK! We ordered it from West Elm a couple weeks back when it was part of their 4th of July sale–I’ll do a new post on it soon. I feel like a real grown up now–I have a DINING table! Also, our wedding invitations arrived from Minted so I’m furiously stuffing envelopes with wine over the next couple of nights, because those gotta get out like a month ago. (Oyyyy).
Then, this weekend it’s my bachelorette party in Milwaukee! I’m so excited and feeling so lucky to have so many amazing friends (with some mischief up their sleeves, I know. Haha!) I’m counting down the hours to the weekend!

I love this skirt! It’s on my list to buy on Friday when the sale goes live to the public. I was going to get the brown color, but this purple-wine is so, so pretty too!

That is such a cute top. Love it! And the bag!

Happy Bachelorette Party weekend! Have such a great time in Mil-town!
Do you have the Blondo boots in suede or leather? Trying to decide which ones to get….thanks!
It’s beautiful that in July you go in long warm boots! You just take care of your legs and feet!
