Dress: Nordstrom (only $50!) Runs true to size–wearing XS–I’m 5’6 for height reference! I’ve never heard of this brand (called Row A) before, but I LOVE it–they make the cutest dresses that are all like $49! Heels: Halogen–under $100! SO comfy–run TTS! Jean jacket: J.Crew, but Madewell and I love Everlane’s as well! Moto jacket: French Connection–I’ve worn this SO much lately–it’s so incredibly comfy and soft! It runs TTS. BlankNYC also makes great ones that I highly recommend! (I own them in two colors!)
How was your weekend!?
Mine was very uneventful–I pretty much just worked the whole time to try and get ahead of schedule on everything that needs to get done before I head to Montana for my best friend’s wedding in a few days! It was more of a “I slept in and got up and went for a run to Humboldt Park on Saturday morning” and THEN started working sort of way–so it was still really nice! (Luckily I love what I do so it doesn’t feel like WORK work.)
You know sometimes you have those seasons of your life that are really great and exciting but so hectic and crazy that you can’t even remember what you ate for lunch that day? (Wait, turns out you forgot to eat lunch…)This is one of those seasons. ?
I so appreciate your understanding with my slower posting frequency last week–I’ve got a LOT of great posts coming your way this week though to make up for it! ? I’m going to be traveling a lot at the end of the month (Montana this week, Phoenix the following week, and Guadalajara the next–with like one to two days in between ?I’m so excited, but slightly overwhelmed. ?) Sooo there might be a couple more lighter content before we get back to normal–thank you for bearing with me! In earlier years, I would’ve run myself ragged trying to pre-write and schedule weeks worth of posts, but that’s just not realistic right now with everything else I’ve got going on. However, I will definitely be posting a lot on Instagram stories, so make sure you’re following me over there!
Anyway–on to today’s post! I’m SO excited to share this adorable dress with you today, along with two jackets that I pair with pretty much every dress I wear. (I get quite a few questions on how to style moto jackets and jean jackets–so I’m happy to announce you’ll be seeing both of those today ?).
First, let’s talk about the dress! It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of dresses–any outfit that is a “one and done” kind of thing, I am ALL about.
I’ve never heard of the brand that makes it before (it’s called “Row A“) but I stumbled upon it on Nordstrom and I’m pretty sure it’s the best kept brand secret ever. I feel like a lot of their dresses look like Reformation, but they’re all $50! ??I particularly love the pretty green color, dainty pattern, neckline, and billowy sleeves of this dress. It’s one that you’ll pull out again and again year round. (I wore it out to dinner the other night with black tights and black booties!) Let’s be honest I probably should’ve posted this BEFORE St. Patrick’s Day but, what can you do? ?
Hilarious side note: Okay, did you have a Bitty Baby when you were a little girl? If so, did you have the beach outfit? Because doesn’t the color/pattern on this dress remind you of it!? ?Is it just me!? It’s such a cute dress though! ?

Suede Moto Jacket: (On sale!)
I have been wearing this jacket so much lately! As you guys know, I’m a huge fan of moto jackets and leather jackets. I think they’re the perfect thing to pair with feminine dresses, because it adds the perfect amount of contrast–a bit of edge to juxtapose the girliness of the dress. (Remember the Juxtaposition rule? This is a great example!) The one I’m wearing here is so soft AND it’s on sale! It’s a little bit on the pricier side though (although still under $200!)

Classic Jean Jacket:
I love my jean jacket from J.Crew–(Madewell and Everlane also have really great jean jackets!) Like the moto jacket above, it contrasts the sweetness of the dress so nicely–but it dresses it down to feel a bit more casual. This outfit would also be super cute with white sneakers or my favorite flat sandals!
I hope you have the best Monday!!
Photos by the wonderful Heather Kinkel–I would highly recommend her if you need a Phoenix photographer! She was not just a dream to work with, but one of the coolest, nicest humans I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Thank you Heather!
