I’ve been on this kick recently that involves me attempting to branch out from my standby Old Fashioned. I have always been intrigued by Gin. Disclaimer: I think most of it has to do with how pretty the Hendricks bottle is. I’m a sucker for great packaging. Regardless, being clueless in the area of mixology, I asked Neal to help me brainstorm a crowd-pleasing Gin cocktail that would be perfect for a holiday occasion. Here it goes:
Champagne cocktail with Gin & Pomegranate:
- 1 shot of gin, each
- A handful of Pomegranate seeds, for color
- Pomegranate Grenadine Syrup
- Champagne or Prosecco
Start off with your favorite champagne flutes (My favorite heart shaped ones featured here were actually thrifted). Pour 1 shot of Gin in each glass. Top off with Champagne or Prosecco. Add a dash of syrup to your liking (I like mine extra sweet). Finish with a handful of Pomegranate seeds.
P.S. yes. That was probably the easiest cocktail you’ve ever made.
